The Goal: Seven Summits

I’m aiming to become the youngest female in history to climb Everest with no oxygen and the youngest Canadian in history to climb the 7 Summits.. It’s a challenge that’s as mental as it is physical.  I’ll be sharing the full process, gear choices, training blocks, logistics, setbacks, and small wins, so you can see what it truly takes.

Why donate? As a victim of child abuse, my ultimate goal is to raise enough money to donate to the Archway Society for Domestic Peace, a domestic abuse victim resource for women and children who had helped me during my childhood. Without them, I would not be where I am today.

When did you start high-altitude mountaineering?
I began mountaineering in 2021 in Squamish, BC when I spent a summer living there. Not long after, in 2023, I went for my first high-altitude climb, Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.

As simple as it sounds, start hiking! Start local and you will eventually meet people who will encourage you to push yourself to get better and go bigger. You will find out very quickly if it is meant for you or not. Also, taking courses and guided climbs are always a great way to learn skills and meet people.

I grew up in the mountains, so work and play within them became second nature to me. Without even realising it, I had subconsciously made the decision to climb the 7 summits. When I realised that I had a chance to beat these two records, without a doubt, I had to go for it!

My goal is to give back to the communities that helped me get here. As a victim of child abuse, I want to raise enough money to donate to the Archway Society for Domestic Peace, a domestic abuse resource for women and children who helped me and my family during my childhood. Without them, I could not be where I am today.

I want to show young women that their past does not define them, you should be given the resources to take control of your future.
